Galerie Miyu is the world's first physical gallery dedicated to the arts and techniques of animation, serving as a bridge between animation artists and contemporary artists. The gallery's objective is twofold: to provide a platform for showcasing the visual work of animation filmmakers and to integrate animated techniques into the history of contemporary art, especially as more and more contemporary artists explore the possibilities offered by these techniques in their work.
Miyu has thus become a global label to showcase and celebrate the talent of animation filmmakers worldwide who have developed visual and artistic work encompassing drawing, sculpture, painting, installation, and video art using animation techniques.
The design of the posters for the first three exhibitions was unique for each showcase, as the gallery aimed to have a different design for each exhibition. Each poster features a color variant in negative space, adding to its distinctive character.
